Well, if you recall, the Afghanis were trained pretty well by us to combat the Russians before they turned on us, so training alone doesn't really say much.
And they beat the Soviets and got the job done. So I guess it says a lot. I'd rather have democratic Iraqi soldiers against me than terrorists.

Btw, just out of curiosity, are we gonna start referring to all our enemies now as terrorists, regardless of who's using the terror tactics or not?
No. There are also terrorist supporters, terrorist suppliers, general bad guys, and the New York Times. Terrorists have to use terrorist tactics to be called terrorists.
