    Product Description:
There's music in the wind and sky. Can you hear it? And there’s hope. Can you feel it? The boy called August Rush can. The music mysteriously draws him, penniless and alone, to New York City in a quest to find – somehow, someway – the parents separated from him years earlier. Along the way he may also find the musical genius hidden within him. Experience the magic of this rhapsodic epic of the heart starring Freddie Highmore (as August), Keri Russell, Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Terrence Howard and Robin Williams. "I believe in music the way some people believe in fairy tales," August says. Open your heart and listen. You’ll believe, too.

    Teen's Review
    Teen's Rating: 10/10 stars

This film is pure magic. It may not contain unicorns or magical powers, but it is a fantasy film nevertheless. The film is a total escape and a pure delight.

Freddie Highmore does such a fantastic job. In my opinion, this is probably the greatest movie that he has ever performed in. His performance is what makes the film excel beyond all expectations. Keri Russell also does an excellent job.

The directing was fantastic as well. Kerstin Sheridan does a great job at bringing all three different stories together and does a wonderful job at balancing the difficult task to directing three separate stories and blending them together in one.

The musical soundtrack is an A++, and it has to be, since this movie is about music. I wouldn't expect anything less. However, what makes it great is that it is well-balanced with lots of variety, yet it is also powerful. The music will take you away.

The story is refreshing. The story begins with music and a family is born because of music. An orphan does everything he can to find his parents, even though he has no idea who his parents are. The parents have no idea who their son is or what he looks like. His parents do everything they can to find each other. None of them will ever be happy until they are reunited. The one thing that brings the family back together is music. Music is the true hero behind this story and that's what makes it so magical.

This film will continually pull at your happy heart-strings. It'll make you laugh and cry, but most of all, it'll make you believe in the power of music. There is so much emotion in this film, but just the "right" kind of emotion.

I recommend this film for everyone of all ages. It will change the way you perceive sounds and music, you'll begin to hear music everywhere you go. All you have to do is believe.
