i was reading the OLD archives of the new page just a few days ago....

I've been around since inception and don't remember Goblins. xD

goblin "skill" is now included in EVERY race.

it is the small weapon power.

used to be only goblins got the bonus for holding small weapons. they made that bonus work for everyone. and then removed goblins.

Fury doesnt like more then 4 races.

Goblins also had double credits per click

But they had half TBG and stuff... the extra tff was only to hold small weapons.

if enough of us remember.. we will get it right!

2 clicks for each click
only half the TBG
bonus for holding small weapons

that was the goblin race.

now what age was it?one of the first two betas?

i forget. i know wasn't age 2, or 1?

It was the first beta ever. Age 0

First beta was technically Alpha Age 0 or whatever.
Goblins are dead now, but their legacy forever lives on in RoC and KoC. I think the TBG was cut in half though, to avoid goblins being godmoded.

Half TBG.
Anything that would increase army size by X increased it by 2X instead.
Low-cost weapons > High cost weapons.

Something like that.

Pieces of goblin code are still around in the files, but for the most part, we can't restore them; we'd have to basically rewrite it. I attempted to bring them back for age 3 2/3rds, but it was not to be.
