I was wondering recently. A lot of people complain about etc etc etc etc or how the game is boring. This post is for you guys.

What made you play?

What made you quit? (if you have)

Agreed. Sabbing is powerful, but sabbers can be sabbed too. :surprise:
Should be quite an interesting age. :evilimu:

Hahahaha! Now that's a good reason :-p

And my sentry ain't so low this age BB... but I have been slacking! I have more than 200 turns X_X Barely been able to bank in days...

Hmm... so for sabbers their satisfaction comes from sab total damage?

Clearly... I know what makes a slayer tick...

What about rankers? They look nice at the beginning but usually get passed up.

For some, mebbe. Not me.
After all, the damage is relative.
I recently did 32 mill damage to one account, but that was like 2tbg's for him/her.
Another guy had 200k tbg, and I sabbed his only 3 excalibers.
Which one do you think felt it more?
I enjoyed them both equally. :evilimu:

A little too early to tell how this age is right now, give it another 2 weeks and you should see the real age. But, so far... so good.

P.S. Welcome back pigsfoot :<3:.

first of all! welcome back pigsfoot.

Like i said before and what Tapch said on his last post. Its too early to predict anything.

Ive noticed alot of RF's sold DA
For CDE thats normal, they are more a sab/war group

I guess sabbing is effective enough to get people selling off DA

RF's alot quieter too on the forum compared to last age, dunno why exactly

Personally (I can't speak for my alliance) I'm just under the burden of a whole new set of RL developments. Hence, I've decided to still keep playing, mostly for my alliance instead of myself, under a smaller low-profile account and just bank infrequently, click while watching TV, and sab when I'm bored.

Will I be as strong as last age? Hell no.
Will I still have fun? You bet :)

Sabsquad, we have too many slayers/slayer wannabees on the team.

And Fury's clicking makes everyone silent... Good thing Kalusha is taking his money once in while :)

yea he's right

even in my case, im a player who lives off turns actually, i dont click anymore and my TBG isnt that great

i must say those guys like grandpa-tls etc etc are extremely active, the last 3 days i couldn't get a hit above 35 mil

Most people have begun to see that IRC is more effective, and more real time than a forum.

Both IRC and the forums have their good and bad points.

Imo, I think he was implying that they were umm, more agressive on these forums last age, when sabbers were castrated, and not so much this age.
:rolleyes1

They've been 'aggressive' this age too, but just in #relentless :p.

I'll take your word for it as I rarely "do" irc, lol.

yea thats what i meant

irc you say? hmm i dont really like it that much, its like a huge msn messenger
im more like a forum kinda guy who comes and looks at the topics and posts some stuff
much nicer, people can read up that way
i dont want to return to my im 16 and lets all chat on msn period

You also don't do alliance play sabsquad. It's easier to mobilize an alliance quickly on IRC where you have instant transmission of ideas instead of posting a thread and then waiting for a reply and then replying to the reply. Course for important things forums are sometimes better since in IRC you'd have to continually re-post the same information to keep it active on the page and a forum can be navigated at one's own pace.
