Well I've looked through the round table several times and every thread sounds the same. While I really do believe that you are all good people :) it becomes mundane reading the same cliches over and over again by the various alliances.

In all honesty, while I don't want to always be stuck in a war, I don't want to be in an alliance that's afraid to fight (everyone likes some excitement). And I don't want to be in a massive alliance where no one knows each other or gives a crap about the other people. I don't think I should have to spend 12 hours on my computer posting in alliance forums either lol. Most importantly, I don't want to have to join a chain of command - I'm quite happy with the one I'm in now because I can honestly say that I'm with a group of friends.

thanks in advance, sorry if I sound rude just looking for some genuine answers instead of salesmanship lol

So anyways, without hearing the same cliches that float around the Round Table (no offense) lol, what alliances out there would fall into what I'm looking for?

this would call for recruiting wich is not allowed here.

if I were you i would just ignore the gua threads, visit alliance forums, join up on several and stay on the one you like the most. :)

sorry wasn't trying to break the rules guys, my bad.

Just some losers who are apparently in the Striker Clan have been attacking me and cried about it when I sabotaged all their weapons in return lol

well, you can personal message me for my personal opinion, as im not allowed just to recruit people.

When in the round table, look foralliances which have a relatively fair amount of users, they give more personalized attention and its easyer to bea part of. Everyone knows everyone in those.

Look for alliances threads that have a high post cound, these account for activity, and you'll notice some have way more than others.

Look for alliances that FiT;) your playing style. Like if you like to sabatoge people, look for spy alliances.

lol yeah I've already been participating on FiT forums to see if they would be an alliance I would enjoy.

Glad to be of service, and hope that this situation can settle down quickly before more damage is done to people who weren't involved in the first place. And perhaps it'll turn out to be a blessing in disguise, which made you get involved in KoC alliances--It really opens up an entirely new dimention to the game. :D

well now that IS funny!! :chairfall

I really dun have much to say...but err...yeah imo there are 3 types of alliances

-big ones
-medium
-inactive...

(woa, i'm a genius! gimme rep points!)

hehe no kiddin, the best ones to join are the medium size ones cuz you just get to know other people and they give ya attention. Most of this time the alliances can give you moderate to good protection cuz of their allies and friends...

Each alliance has like their own spirit...some are more war-like others more spam-like, others are just plain boring... So yeah, i agree join several and see how they treat you in each and choose *fits* you the most...

I can't recruit either, but ye know...there's banners in my siggy and stuff and well and err...and bye. :whistilin

hmm i think u r starting to know what are some of the honor codes of the bigger alliances, something that would be excelent is always trying to start inside an active and small or medium alliance, cause this way u get to personalize urself a little bit more with other koc players, and know more strategies about the game too, but it is important that there can be some backup when the time arrises, like u cannot deal against a bigger alliance if u dont have an older brother

You forgot about 1-man, 1-player, and imaginary alliances.

Also, you forgot that the vector field is conservative, and integrates to an even-powered coefficient, so the the work of the circulation is 0.

Um... don't know where that came from. Stupid finals.

Anyways, in response to the last comment, it IS possible to fight a big alliance without a "big brother". Just make sure that them attacking you hurts them more than it hurts you.
Not that I recommend that. But it is possible. And annoying.

MY advice would be to, one at a time, piss off each alliance you are interested in. If they blindly mass you, chances are they are in wars quite a bit. If they try negotiations first and then attack, they are not afraid to fight. If they only try to negotiate, they are afraid to fight, but at least they care. If nothing happens, they really don't care about their members.

Nice way of testing it--But I think this method may have some downsides...

1) Crippling your account

2) Alienating members of the alliance you want to join
