The Divine Blood
Divine Guardian’s History
Throughout history it has been said that before all other races came into existence there was the first. The higher powers known to lower life forms as Gods created what they believed to be a an imitation of themselves, a sub class of Divine beings. It was to their belief that these newly created Divine creatures would maintain the natural order and stability of the careful balance of life. To preserve and maintain peace. These Divine Guardians of the universe were to remain hidden within these mystical worlds of Lina. These ancient stories were passed down from generation to generation, century after century.
As time passed on these Divine beasts naturally evolved to coop with the different terrors of the worlds thus creating sub classes of their own race. Darkness was their time to judge and eradicate small problems among the races created by their Lords the higher powers. However continuous observation led to more sightings of the corrupt ways and thoughts of these lower life forms, these races fought over meaningless land, money and power. Individuals began forming what would be called as clans and groups with similar goals and objectives, it didn’t take them long for these polar opposite clans to engage in battle and bloodshed. Massacre’s and slaughters became a daily ritual for the inferior races that sought worldly desires tying to reach them through force.
Wars broke out all over the worlds of Lina it was then the Elders of the Divine beings held a secret meeting across the universe. Something had to be done to correct the wrongs of the inferior races…something drastic enough to punish them for their corrupt ways and instil a sense of order back into their hearts and minds. Knowing that their only purpose and creation was to maintain this equilibrium of the natural worlds and stability, these Guardians sought to rectify the past wrongs of the lower life forms that inhabited the worlds of Lina.
To these Divine Creatures this war upon the inferior races would be known as Purification of Lina. Out of necessity these purifiers created even more sub classes to ensure their universal goal was swift. Sub Classes of Scouts, Soldiers, Magicians and Summoners were all being spawned from the Elders of the Divine Guardian race.
The War on Humanity itself had begun….there would be only one winner. The loser would be wiped out completely from existence. There is no choice in the manner if you did not fight for survival you would be ‘purified’.
Divine Guardian’s Stats
Race: Divine Guardians, the sacred origins of these creatures goes back to the beginning of creation. They are known by the Gods as the first and only race of perfection. Each Divine Guardian is well disciplined at birth and rapidly grows to adult-hood within months. At birth they are instilled with their ominous purpose and goal in life. Although it has never happened in the past but if need be a new born would be killed off if it wasn’t pure blooded (meaning has ill thoughts of it’s purpose).
Technology: The DG’s are widely known for their technological superior battle instruments on any battlefield. It is unknown how far advanced some of their weapons are it is only safe to say they greatly exceed the technology of any other race aside from their masters, the higher powers.
Purpose: Maintain the Equilibrium of Life with the natural flow of the universe. The preservation and constant maintenance of peace throughout the worlds of Lina.
Universal Racial Ability: No matter what class of DG these creatures are they all possess two common attributes:
1. Racial Memories- Each DG has a distinct and vivid knowledge of the races past in full, starting from the Elders first existence to current.
2. Pure Blood- Each DG has the natural ability to negate any poison attempting to infect their pure blooded bodies, meaning food, air and any kind of toxin on a world of Lina is rendered useless against them. They have no need for air or food and their blood instantly purifies any outer substance. For this universal attribute each DG can be easily identified by having Black Blood.

What does Divine blood do?
If mixed with any blood it will infect said blood and replace it completely
The ones infected will lose all memories and get the past of the divine stuck in their heads instead. Thus the berserker will have the urge to purge humanity.
It gives the one infected several advantages: They're immune to all diseases, poisons and toxins
They gain a strength boost equivalent to a high upgrade (if the infected person doesn't have a related strength skill, he will gain a high strength skill)
They have increases senses equivalent to a high skill (if the infected person doesn't have a related 'senses skill, he will gain a high 'senses' skill)
They don't need to breathe (doesn't mean they don't sniff the air for scents though.)
Infected person keeps all other skills aside from those which are based on memories. Magical knowledge however will be reduced to a more basic level.
They can harden the blood to form an outer shell equivalent to a high skill
They can harden the blood to form any weapon and wield it with a skill equivalent to a high upgrade of an existing skill (if the infected person doesn't have a related weapon skill, he will gain a high weapon skill
It is still blood and will act as such when not connected to a controlling berserker. (It'll still infect you though if it's liquid and gets into your blood) Blood cannot be 'reconnected' to a divine either.
Liquid blood is needed to 'convert'/'infect' someone, if no liquid divine blood is present, you are safe.
There is no protection against infection aside from preventing it from happening to begin with. Once liquid divine blood comes into contact with your blood, you are converted (lest you cut off your arm immediately or something)
If your character becomes infected, you lose him and can no longer play him. Depending on circumstances however, DG rpers could (hence why we put all that skill stuff in there).
If someone is infected and acts as a spy, having someone who knows him ask about his past would be a way to reveal him as a berserker spy. Of course, if you prick him and he bleeds black blood, that might be a clue.
Come alone against a berserker as a lvl 1 or 2 and you're fucked

Divine Guardian’s Ranks
Racial Classes: It was out of necessity that the Elder lords of the DG race created specific classes to deal with the rising lower life form threat on the natural stability of the universe. Each class of DG comes with it’s own unique powers and abilities. However the Elders possess all of these specially endowed powers given to the other classes.
Do note that the skill levels we have attached to these classes are rough guidelines to indicate their strength and are not absolute numbers. It is not because your skill level equals or tops a slayer's in strength that you will automatically beat him or the other way around. But it does offer a point of reference in your rping.

The oldest known creatures that have lived throughout the centuries of Lina’s history. Their origins date back to the very beginning. Their remarkable intelligence is uncanny and only comparable to that of the Gods. Having been endowed with the vast amounts of physical and magical powers these divine creatures have used them to their most effective manner. Their greatest attribute is their racial ability to evolve and learn rapidly.
Abilities: These divine beings are by far considered the deadliest and biggest threat to the people of Terrak’Lina. Their physical, mental, magical and spiritual limits are non existent. They are not bound by the rules of the physical or spiritual world making them the toughest opponent you will ever face. They are known widely throughout the universe as “ Titans of Lina”.
There one unique aspect above all the other classes of DG is there ability to create new classes of DG with their minds. For this uncanny ability they are the most prestige class of DG. They are feared by all other classes within DG and feared even more by inferior races. Their sense of determination and discipline to meet ones goal is unbreakable. It is for these reasons there are only a few hundred of these Elders.
The Elites within the DG race are widely known throughout the universe as the “Reapers of Lina”. Similar to their upper class brethren the Elders, they too possess an extreme form of intelligence. Their mental capacity as well as their physical ones are almost comparable to that of the Elders. Which is why they’ve been assigned the task of Body Guard to any and all Elders. Knowing the role of the Elders is much more important then any other within the DG class system their lives are 2nd rate compared to that of Elders. If the Elders are considered the masterminds the Elites are considered the generals in which things are enacted and completed swiftly. When they are not by an Elders side they are out fulfilling an Elders task which could range from assassinations to commanding an attack upon a vital city. Depending on their specific task they come in a variety of forms.
These powerful monsters have been endowed with everything the Elders could give. Except their ability to create more DG’s.
Threat Level: If there ever was a more perfect being, it would be god himself. The chances you will be able to defeat this divine in one on one combat are as good as none existent.
 Immensely Stealthy: He moves with the shadows and the light, he's even better than a shadow at it.
 Immensely Strong: He could bring down gates with his bare hands.
 Immensely Tough: He can take a very, very large amount of damage.
 Immensely Fast: His speed is incredible.
 Immensely Agile: You'd think he was a snake, he'd squirm right out of your grasp.
 Supreme Fighter: He is unmatched, can wield any weapon and deal unbelievable damage with it. He also knows where to deal it.
 Supreme Magic: He can do anything he wants. He is only one step below an Elder.

The Black Angels within the DG race are widely known throughout the universe as the “Death Angels”. All Black Angels share the same task and that is to oversee and protect the DG. These Angels of Death are quite literally the protectors of DG assets ranging from added protection of particular individuals within the race to protection of an already conquered city. They are seen within the DG race as the strong defence against all inferior races.
Abilities: Because of their specific task of protecting the DG race the Elders have bestowed a variety of abilities to aid in their mission. The Black Angels not only have advanced mental capabilities to allow for quick and logical thinking but also the physical strength needed to protect. They have enhanced vision, flight to oversee events clearly even in the night, strength, mind capacity and most notable is their intensely fast speeds. Although they are not as fast as the elites or Elders they have the speed required to travel form location to location ranging from seconds to minutes. An entire trip around Terrak’Lina would roughly take 12 hours by flight.
Their strong physical attributes are just as strong as their magical ones however they do mainly consist of defensive abilities. Although they have some moderate skill with psi power their magical awareness of the elements is comparable to that of the Elites.
Threat Level: The Winged Tank. There is little chance you will breach this guys defences.
 Tank: Can take more damage than a Slayer.
 Magic: has a firm grasp on most defensive magic spells, does know some offensive spells as well.
 Fighter: He can fight like the best of them, better than a Slayer. He is most skilled in defending though.
 Defender: If facing this opponent, you better hope he attacks you for his defence is incredible.
 Skilled Pilot: He can fly and perform difficult manoeuvres while in the sky.
 Very Fast: Almost as fast as a Shadow and whenever he is to make a long flight he can go supersonic.
If the Black Angels are considered the Arial defence for the DG race the Shadows would be the defensive unit based on the ground. However their task is much different then that of the Black Angels…these mysterious creatures within the DG Race are seen as the scouts for the Elders. They are by far the most evasive and mystical creatures amongst the DG class system. Their ability to remain unseen and virtually invisible no matter the setting is comparable to only the Elites and Elders. It is for these reasons the Elders have given them the task of a scout. Their mission is based around gathering information whether it be from individuals or a city and report back to their superiors, the Elders.
Abilities: For their specific task as a scout the Elders have bestowed advanced forms of evasion and camouflaged in order to make their mission swift and effective. Aside from those two abilities these Shadows have advanced physical and magical powers superior to the inferior races but not by much, in the rare case that these Shadow scouts are spotted by an enemy his best chance of survival would be in retreat. Therefore the Shadows speed is on the same level as the Black Angels.
Threat level: Scout and backstabber extra-ordinary. How can you even defend against something that is not there?
 Incredibly Fast: His speed makes him look like a blur to the human eye if you can even see him.
 Near Invisible: He is like a chameleon.
 Very Stealthy: When you hear him, it's already too late.
 Physically Weak: He can only take slightly more damage than a Berserker.
The summoners within the DG race are widely considered the “Master Magicians of Lina”. Although their magical prowess isn’t on the same level as the Elites or Elders they are by far superior to all inferior life forms magically. Where they lack in physical power they make up for with their advanced intelligence and magical abilities. Similar to the Slayers, the Summoners task is to purify the worlds of Lina. Whether that be killing lower life forms or purifying their corrupt souls with DG blood (see Berserkers for more details). Be weary of the Summoners, for where they roam Slayers and Berserkers are not far off. For their advanced mind qualities, Summoners are automatically acclaimed the temporary leader amongst a band of Slayers and Berserkers.
Abilities: For their particular task the Elders have given these Summoners vast amounts of magical knowledge and power. They range from actual summoning of living or dead beasts to powerful elemental knowledge. Their advanced mental capabilities have made them a fierce opponent along with their knowledge of magic. Their abilities are on par with that of the Black Angels however where the Death Angels are strong in defensive skills the Summoners are strong in offensive skills and weaker in defensive. There magical power is above that of a lower life form however they are weaker physically then these inferior races.
Threat level: Gandalf the white is a pussy compared to this one. If you expect to fight these, be sure to have a couple of very strong mages accompanying you.
 Magical: He has a firm grasp of magic and is able to conjure up anything he wants: shields, elements, invisibility, levitation, you name it. He is a grand mage in all aspects.
 Intelligent: He is very keen and aside from great willpower, he also has a great tactical mind.
 Physically Average: His is not that strong compared to other Divine.
 Fighter: Uses mostly ranged melee weapons or long armed weapons.
The Slayers within the DG race are widely considered the “Master Warriors and Soldiers of Lina”. Highly trained and experienced in the ways of battle and tactics they’ve studied the war tactics and fighting habits of the inferior races and have improved upon them greatly throughout history. Having been disciplined since birth, Slayers have a strong sense of authority and commands given to them. Just like the Summoners their sole task is to purify the worlds of Lina. Whether that be killing lower life forms or purifying their corrupt souls with DG blood (see Berserkers for more details). Although they aren’t the brightest amongst the DG race they know enough to take orders and carry them out no matter what it takes. Knowing that having a higher intelligence above average would cause for some needless confrontation the Elders simply gave these War Beasts enough mind capacity to think for themselves and to kill the enemy effectively while using their previous knowledge of tactics.
Abilities: For their particular task the Slayers have no need for magical power when they have the aid of Summoners close behind them. Therefore the Elders concentrated the Slayers abilities and strength into there physical power and knowledge of tactics on the battlefield whether it be a fight against hundreds in a full fledged battle or a small one on one fight against an enemy. Their physical power is not quite on par with that of an Elite however they are far superior to that of any inferior race. However their magical power is non existent making them vulnerable without the aid of the Summoners.
Threat level: Bad ass and smart divine warrior knight, a challenge to any warrior. Almost unstoppable when in a horde.
 Very Strong: His strength makes him able to smash boulders.
 Very Fast: His speed is incredible. Though you can see him with your bare eyes, he can easily dodge your High Skill moves.
 Smart: He thinks things through, even on the battlefield.
 Tough: Seeing he is a mass of bulging muscles, he can take more damage than a Berserker.
The berserkers are widely viewed within the DG race as the “Infected Swarm” due to their creation or transformation. These are the only creatures not created by the Elders, rather they are the result of the purification of inferior races. This purification can be done by any DG even fellow Berserkers. All that needs to be done in order to purify the lower life forms is the entrance of DG blood into an inferior life forms bloodstream. This can be done whether the victim is alive or dead. If DG blood is allowed into the bloodstream by a small cut or some other wound allowing entrance (not by an opening already made but by a fresh wound that gives direct contact to the victims blood) to the body the purification will begin almost instantly. First symptoms will be nausea, dizziness and fatigue. Within minutes the condition will worsen exceedingly quick as the victim suffers from aching bones and muscles and a throbbing head, fatigue continues to worsen. If the victim is strong he or she will have fought the purification for roughly 15 minutes, however even the strongest of victims will fall after that. When the process is complete the victim will have lost all memories and knowledge of his or her past instead he or she will be supplied with new memories and past, that of the DG race and it’s history. The Berserkers are literally the slaves to the pure DG’s. They are not forced to fight for the DG but they are filled with thoughts and memories to do so. Making them mindless drones that can be controlled by any pure DG. However it does not mean the Berserkers have no intelligence, they have a mind of their own, even if it’s the same mind as all other Berserkers. Their sole task given to them by the Elders is to purify the worlds of Lina. Whether that be killing lower life forms or purifying their corrupt souls with DG blood. If the Black Angels and Shadows make up the defence for the DG race, the Summoners, Slayers and Berserkers make up the total offence.
Abilities: For their particular task, the Elders have given these DG slaves improved physical power including enhanced vision, awareness, speed and strength. Their physical power is not on par with that of the Slayers but it is however slightly greater then the average lower life forms. Magical powers varies depending on if the individual had previous magical power in his ‘unpurified’ form. If he or she did have some it’s not much and they are still highly vulnerable to magical attacks by inferior races. These enhanced abilities are only available to them when they choose to transform which covers there entire body with the DG blood that they were recently given. This manipulative blood acts as the Berserkers liquid armor that can transform into a variety of shapes mainly consisting of melee weapons.
Whenever they are not in their fighting form they are disguised as their normal appearance before they were purified. When they do not have a specific task to embark upon, Berserkers can be found all across the land searching for inferior races that have not been purified yet. Trickery and deceit is their normal tactics as they are in their normal form. When they are in their fighting form however they become what they are called, a Berserker. They use their enhanced physical abilities to the extreme, doing whatever must be done to fulfil their objective.
Threat level: Strong fighter, a force to be reckoned with when in mobs, even for higher levelled characters, extremely reckless. Acts without thinking.
Skills Added When In Fighting Form:
4 skillpoints upgrade to Strength
4 skillpoints upgrade to Speed
4 skillpoints upgrade to Senses (eg. eyesight, hearing, smell)
4 skillpoints upgrade to Reflexes
New Skills When In Fighting Form:
 Blood Armour: The armour can take up to high physical damage attacks successfully.
 Blood Weapons: Can form his blood into any solid weapon. (eg. no bows and whips and the likes)
 Fighting: He knows how to use the weapons he forms and is capable of dealing great up to lethal damage with them.
Pack of Berserkers: When in a big group they tend to just rush the enemy in their fighting form and attempt to convert or kill them.
Single: When alone or in extremely small groups Berserkers tend to try and get close to their opponents before converting them. They tend not to reveal themselves if there is a risk they might be killed.
Urge To Purge: His only goal will be to convert you once you're engaged in battle with him.
Stupid: You can lure him into an obvious trap, he won't notice nor care much. Trip him, bait him and so on, he won't show any sign of tactics in a fight either unless you call clobbering you a tactic.
Switch: Berserkers can switch to soldier and normal form at will, making them good for spying and surprise attacks.
Free Blood: A Berserker doesn't need to cut himself to bring forth the black blood. It simply comes through his skin.

When they do not have a specific task they normal can be found wandering across the land looking for people to infect. When they fight they literally go berserk with their power. They will lose any sort of tactics they once had and go completely crazy. They become intensely unpredictable and only their skills keep them from dying. If berserkers do not have higher up DG with them they don’t fight in any sort of system.

Concentration on the continents:
Deshkin- Deshkin has less Berserkers than other types of DG. Most Berserkers have left the continent as a first wave attack against continents like Rurian or Linmotar. This means it houses many of the higher levelled Divine. It is certain at least one elder is present and with him, several elite. Many black angels can be sporadically seen (by those who dare set foot on the continent) flying over the forest and shadows undoubtedly watch the coastlines and several other strategic points.
Rurian- Berserkers have a high density in the northern reaches of Rurian and around where Dar used to be. From these areas it is normal for the DG to send out raiding parties of Berserkers with sometimes Slayers. It is rumoured Dar has become the home of one Elder, so it is safe to assume several elite are here as well. The amount of Black Angels seems to be limited to seven and concentrated around Dar. Several Slayers and Summoners have been spotted across the landscape near Dar as well.
Linmotar- Most Berserker activity is located around the coastal regions. There are occasionally a few small groups wandering the forest and infecting any stragglers. Sometimes they organize ambushes against caravans or isolated military targets. Slayers and classes above are rarely seen on Linmotar, though rumours do pop up every now and then of an extremely strong Divine having ambushed a caravan or powerful magic wiping a patrol from the road. But rogue agents could as well have caused these occurrences.
Naan- Berserkers in Naan form very large groups so they are not outnumbered and killed by the large number of undead and demons. It is extremely rare to see a small number of Berserkers without any higher DG. Especially around the port city of Culvix the area is unsafe as the city is frequently attacked by both undead and Divine. But overall, the undead seem to be keeping the Divine at bay, just like any good sheppard would protect his sheep from the wolves.
Mekong- In the desert there are normally small groups of disguised Berserkers looking for people to turn. They rarely break cover unless winning is assured.
Nasylum – The west of the continent has many Berserkers and the amount of Slayers and Summoners is on the rise. Normally they are in huge groups that roam the continent looking for people to turn. The further east you go, the fewer Divine you’ll find.
