I just attacked a dude that i had about 100K more attack than he had defence, and yet i lost, have they changes the random thingy alot or did i just luck out badly?

What was his DA?

I had an SA of about 1,964k
and he/she had a DA of 1,853k


i did 1,343,908 dmg,

he/she did 1,383,718 dmg

I got this problem, this guy had 1.850 mil def, I had 1.904 mil sa, and he beat me by 400k def points.

you will always do less dammage as displayed on sa or da
It's becaus not all you men has weapons and all that stuff...

Hmm...not to sure about about KoC, but FoE has a random attack/defence factor. Even if you have a higher attack, it doesnt always grant victory.

So, it could be that. Or i could be wrong about it. :p

That's the random factor for you. I always try to have about 15%+ SA over the guy I'm attacking. Even then that's sometimes not enough, but it usually is.

The number of soldiers each of you has factors into it also. Take a look see how the size of your army compares against the one you attacked. If they have more or close to equal, you won't get much, if any gold at all.

We're talking about the random factor determining whether you win or lose, not about the amount of gold you win. But yes, what you say is true.
