That gives many more possiblities...

How about finding a free forum host and have your alliance go there?

While I agree that it sounds usefull and I think it should be installed into the game, I believe that until it is (or if it is) there are alternitives. You can use e-mail and mass e-mail people (you need to have POP access for this, but plenty of programs would let you.) I still would be in favor of the admins installing this kind of feature. Also a little deal they could ad on would be two options you chould choose from when creating a mass mail letter:
1. Send to all officers
2. Send to all officers and sub-officers

Maybe your chain isn't even an alliance ;)You don't have to use the bulk mail option for that... you could just make announcements or other such things... Just making a thread would be sufficient in most cases. Besides, it would allow for better organization and less redundancy.

True, but i have meet many people while playing that prefer not to sign up on forums. They dont mind the game cuz they really don't need to talk or give out personal info to people they never met, and never will.

most forums are perfectly safe but others seem very reluctant. Mass Pm is a great idea but should only be sent to officers. Also 20 messages per hour if you have more than 20 officers it may cause a problem. Must take weeks for LS to PM all his officers. However im sure some of his slaves help him out ;)

one of the reasons to mass mail could be too tell them too sign up at the forums :)

This should be implemented so that some of the top ranked player w/ a lot of officers will be able to send messages to all of them and not be misunderstood

why not just make a forum for you and your officers or a webby to keep in contact it would be easier and your officers could als help each other rather then you helping the hundreds you could have

this is a great idea with no downside...

i can personally remember many times when my enemies would call a truce so i'd have to personally go through every single one of my officers, his officers, his sub-officers, his sub-sub-officers, etc., to call off all massing/sabbing. it takes forever and it could be an easy way to message/organize for attacks and masses and truces.

i agree wholeheartedly, even though i only have 3 officers, and they dont even play more than 4 or 5 times a week lol.
but it would be good for people to call off/start up mass attacks/sabs.

I agree with the mass messaging. How many forums do you people really want to be on? I personally don't want to have to be on several forums, like one for the game, one for the alliance, etc.

Instead all messaging all of your officers, why not just have like a bulletin or blog where it shows your user stats. You could be able to mark who can read them. Like choosing "officers", "subofficers", "superiors" "everyone" or any combination of those. It would be much easier and if anyone wants to know what's going on all they have to do is check your profile.
