you dont need to register for unit production, when u have enough money u can go to the armory and click on the unit production link. then u will get the no. of soldiers u have chosen for at midnight EST. and the cost is only initial cost, u dont have to regularly pay for getting units daily.

the new unit production system is awsome..... its been less than a month since the new age started and with 40 people made a day.....that means that i have like 280 people made per week..... plus clicks.

I wonder just how high the unit production can get?

i know it works like this so far 5,10,20,40,80

Unit production goes up to 640 per day, at a cost of 105 million gold. Nice if you can afford it, and apparently it pays back the investment pretty quickly to.

I like the unit production system, its better to get units like this than to give everybody ur link and ask them to click the link to get soldiers for you. And making an initial investment does not matter when u start getting lots of soldiers per day

For all the noobs out here, here is the result of my calculations (from another forum; I posted them a few weeks ago):

UP5:
Cost:47000
Extra UP/day:5
You go into profit after 4 days.
(assuming that a 'day' starts when the units appear each day)
Profit after 100 days: 33,889,000 gold.

UP10:
Cost:64222
Extra UP/day:5
You go into profit after 4 days.
Profit after 100 days: 33,871,778 gold.

UP20:
Cost:184316
Extra UP/day:10
You go into profit after 5 days.
Profit after 100 days: 67,687,684 gold.

UP40:
Cost:560453
Extra UP/day:20
You go into profit after 6 days.
Profit after 100 days: 135,183,547 gold.

UP80:
Cost:1822330
Extra UP/day:40
You go into profit after 8 days.
Profit after 100 days: 269,665,670 gold.

UP160:
Cost:6404480
Extra UP/day:80
You go into profit after 11 days.
Profit after 100 days: 536,571,520 gold.

UP320:

Profit after 100 days: 1,061,319,244 gold.

UP640:
Cost:105191829

Better go back to school.

640 production costs a total of 138 million. If you go from 0 to 640 production at all once, you will make 400 million in your first 30 days, providing that none of your soldiers get killed, and none are converted. This is not including a human bonus.

The factor for a 30-day month is 465.
TBG is 28
There are 48 turns in a day.
We are talking about 640 production.

640 * 48 * 28 * 465 = 400 million.

Buying 640 production all at once pays for itself in less than 20 days. I have already closed my calculations so I can't give you the exact # of days.

Clickers are related to unit production right? so how just do they work?

The new upgrade system is great. Now, if they get rid of clicks, the game will truely be a game of skill. As it is now, it's all about who can convince the most morons to join their alliance and click them everyday. (Great for the leader, not so great for the underlings). The focus of the competition in KOC is alliance vs alliance rather than player vs player.

Ya, I know, the original game the developers made in high school was purely "who can get the most clicks"; gold and attacking was added later. But the creators have fleshed out something that actually involves strategy, skill, and gameplay. I think it's time to cut the umbilical cord and take KOC to the next level.

Are you saying I am wrong? I checked my calculations, they all seem to be correct.

Thank the lord 4 the new unit productions, in age 3 they were beyond a rip off.

rtsk I think polar bear is saying if you went from no unit production to 640 in a day where as your calculations are if you upgrade from 320 to 640 (which is more likely to happen).

no, clicking has nothing to do with your unit production. you buy unit production on your training page. once you buy that, you get those men daily if you click or not.

It's ok king...
To answer the original post ( I know it's already too late)...
The first thing you do after registering and signing on the first time is purchase the first unit production upgrade. It's at the bottum right of the training page. It costs 47,000 of your original 50,000 gold but that should be the first thing you do. All that other calculations and stuff is good too but ya have to start there...good luck

It seems such a waste, 138 Mil can be used for much more...
