There are some people who break the KOC rules. There are some simple things that KOC can do to stop them.
Having more than one account:
There isn't much that can be done but for starters ban users whos e-mail is from mailinator.com. The way this site works is you sign up for your account at KOC and put in anything you want in as your e-mail and end it as @mailinator.com. When mailinator gets an e-mail it creates an account. This site was created to stop spammers but KOC is not spam supported.
Farming:
Reducing the humans to 20% was a start but this won't get rid of the problem completely. Maybe there could be a requirement that you be able to have some defense (meaning at least one soldier must be untrained or defense trained) so as to reduce the effect of farms. Another old idea is to put limits on who you can attack. Used to you could attack people who were only like 1/4 weaker than you. This stopped farms well.
Spamming:
If you get a message from someone you should be able to hit a "report spam" button and the user will be warned. If the user is warned by more than 20 different accounts who have gotten a message from him he gets a suspension and a period of not being able to send messages.
Recruiters:
Make it so that you have a limit on how many clicks you can get daily. No more than 20 seems fair.
Fake Officers:
In addition to the mailinator ban put a limit of no more than like 100 officers can be directly under you. (Your officers could have officers of their own of course.)

no more than 20

how bout no more than 2000

thats a little better

and also, the koc admins are making a killing of of what they get for advertisments, mainly because of recruiters which give them tens of millions of hits per day

you think they'd get rid of that?

personally i think you should have a "contact us" button plus your names for games like starcraft because personally i play alot of games and to know people that made one of those games and be able to play with them on another one of my fav games would be awesome.

Ok how about no more than 50. I mean now you can have 8 people with black powders and size isn't an issue. To counter this limit you should be able to click your link every day instead of exactly 24 hours. What I mean is after it passes midnight you can click again. You should also be able to click on the link of your commander's recrute from your command center.

Oh just forgot to mention you shouldn't need to be in an alliance to play the game.

KOC has no in-built recruiter, so this cannot be done

this has been argued for quite sometime, yet noone has found the perfect solution :/

Presently if a tiny army tries to attack a huge army they
FLEE !!!
There is obviously a part of the script which determines relative
strength.
If a large army attempts to attack a far weaker one you should see
BACK OF YA BIG BULLY. IT AINT GONNA HAPPEN TODAY !!!
I know it's not real world stuff but then no one is trying to
pretend that this IS the real world.

i'm so new, i wasn't even aware that farming was against koc rules..?

i think we can all generally agree that the more soldiers you have, the more money you bring in; thus, the higher ranked you are.

this being the case, it's usually more of a loss for a higher ranked individual to attack an individual thas significantly lower ranked. the breaking difference being the relative size of both armies. the higher ranked would have to think twice before attacking an individual with a lower army count, and determine whether the soldier loss (and weapon damage) from that battle justifies the monies won from it.

another thing to take into account is that as you raise through the ranks and army size, you start aiming for people that have more and more gold. that is, an individual with an army size of 10,000 and is ranked 2,000 would not take the time to attack another person thas ranked at 10,000 with 1.5 million gold. simply cuz 1 million is now 'chump change.'

this issue has been pretty much resolved with the addition of the captcha procedure. well, maybe not completely resolved, but at least lessened. and with it being reduced, it's not as big a deal as before.

besides, at least it's not spamming like pornO spam! =b

Farming is an integral part of the game. If you are negligent in running your account, then you deserve to have your TBG stolen by others over and over again until you do something about it. Social Darwinism for KOC.
